project overview

Working on Nope offered the chance to contribute to a world where every visual detail hinted at a larger story. Rather than simply creating graphics for a film, the work became an exercise in building history, personality, and atmosphere. Each design was created to feel like it had existed long before the camera arrived.

the challenge

One of the most rewarding aspects of the project was finding the balance between realism and imagination. Every graphic needed to support the film's unique tone while feeling grounded enough to be believable. From vintage inspired branding to environmental graphics, the challenge was creating pieces that invited curiosity without revealing too much, allowing the audience to discover the world one detail at a time.

results & impact

The finished work became part of an immersive visual language that helped define the environments throughout the film. While many of the graphics appear only briefly on screen, they contribute to the feeling that every location has its own history and identity. Those quiet details are often what make a fictional world feel authentic, rewarding viewers who choose to look a little closer.

conclusion

Nope reinforced something I have always believed about design: the smallest details often carry the greatest weight. Whether creating graphics for a film, an exhibition, or a brand, I enjoy building visual experiences that spark curiosity and encourage people to pause, explore, and imagine the stories that exist just beyond the frame.

I believe creativity and design are more than problem solving. It is a way of paying attention. It helps us notice what is often overlooked, imagine what doesn't yet exist, and discover meaning in places we might otherwise pass by.
