project overview

project overview

Mission Control was an opportunity to contribute production graphics during the pilot stage of a new television series. Projects like this are exciting because you're helping establish the visual language before the world has fully taken shape.

the challenge

Pilots require a balance between exploration and practicality. The graphics needed to communicate the setting clearly while remaining flexible enough to support a production that was still finding its identity. Every design helped define the look and feel of the world the story hoped to build.

results & impact

results & impact

I enjoyed being part of the early creative process. There's something rewarding about contributing ideas at the beginning of a project, when every detail helps establish the foundation for what could become a larger series.

conclusion

Not every production continues beyond the pilot, but every project offers something worth taking with you. Mission Control was a reminder that good design isn't measured by how long a show runs. It's measured by the care and thought you bring to the work, no matter where the story ends.

I believe creativity and design are more than problem solving. It is a way of paying attention. It helps us notice what is often overlooked, imagine what doesn't yet exist, and discover meaning in places we might otherwise pass by.
