Hieroglyph was one of my earlier television projects and an exciting opportunity to create graphics for a drama set in ancient Egypt. The production required building a visual world rooted in history, mythology, and storytelling, making it a memorable experience early in my career.

the challenge
Creating graphics for a historical setting meant looking beyond modern design and understanding the details that helped define the era. Research, reference gathering, and careful attention to visual elements were important parts of creating materials that felt believable within the story.
Although the series was never released, the project gave me valuable experience working on a large scale production and collaborating within an art department. It was a chance to explore a different time period and contribute to a world that was built entirely from imagination and research.

Conclusion
Hieroglyph remains a project I remember fondly because of the opportunity to create something outside the everyday. It was an early reminder of why I enjoy production design: taking ideas from history, imagination, and storytelling, then helping turn them into a visual world.
