For Our Friend, I created production graphics for a story centered around a small town community. The work included designing materials for a local theater, including playbills, posters, and other graphics that helped establish the everyday life of the characters.
the challenge
The goal was to create graphics that felt authentic to the setting. The designs needed to look like they had naturally existed within the community, reflecting the personality of a local theater rather than feeling like something created specifically for a film.
This project was a reminder that some of the most important production graphics are the ones that quietly build a world. Creating believable everyday materials required attention to detail and an understanding of how design exists within real communities.
